Having been engaged in production management for many years, my greatest asset is not the amount of money I have saved, but rather the experience I have accumulated on my own! I. What is experience? It’s the result of repeating tasks countless times, leading to a change from quantitative to qualitative levels! So I’m never afraid of doing more work, nor am I afraid of repeating the same task multiple times, because the experience (skills) gained through this process are something that others can never replicate to achieve the best results. II. What is work efficiency? It’s about completing all the daily tasks every day without any omissions – that’s the highest level of efficiency! Spend a few minutes each night (usually less than 10 minutes) to prioritize the tasks for the next day based on their importance and urgency, and then carry them out in that order. 3. What is work quality? In other words, don’t rely entirely on reports for everything; production managers must always be on the production site – only by going there and seeing things with their own eyes can they know what has truly been completed! Production management is not just about assigning tasks, placing orders, and receiving deliveries; it’s not merely about giving commands and handling documents. It involves interacting with real people and products, because otherwise all you will ever know are numbers, not the actual items in question! IV. After giving a command comes supervision and coordination. A command does not guarantee a result; it is merely the beginning of something. Once a command is issued, what we need to do is not wait for the result to appear, but rather supervise and coordinate those who carry out the command in order to achieve the best possible outcome. V. What is a system? Regulations are established to achieve management objectives; do not create systems blindly. Before formulating them, first consider what goals you want to achieve. Some systems are superficial and ineffective, and may even run counter to those objectives! Some companies prioritize quality as the top priority and profit as the second, while others put profit first and quality second; depending on their objectives, they establish different systems. 6. What is planning? A plan cannot exist on its own; it has two twin brothers, namely tracking and coordination – the two most important concepts in production management, and also key elements for the proper functioning of a company! “A “plan” is not just a few pieces of paper or something that’s completed with just a simple line connecting two points; it involves tracking and coordinating the processes that take place between those two points.
