How are the expansion tube parameters for double-sheet plate determined?
Expansion jointing is the same as single tube sheet; just do it in the usual way you use for expansion joints.
Does the double shell and plate expand in the same way as the single shell and plate? Use a very long expansion tube?
Yes, what are the outer diameter and wall thickness of your tube? It can be achieved using a regular tube expander
Using a conventional mechanical tube expander is very difficult, and it cannot guarantee the quality of tube expansion; hydraulic tube expanders should be used for double-sheet plate assemblies.
