Treatment of degumming wastewater from linen mills

For the treatment of degumming wastewater from flax textile factories, the processes I am aware of are: acid extraction – precipitation – pH adjustment – anaerobic treatment – aerobic treatment – decolorization and precipitation. Does that guy have a better technique? Under normal circumstances, the COD of this wastewater is around 5W; the BOD has not been measured. The pH is above 13. Its composition is similar to that of papermaking black liquor, with only lower concentrations of certain components.
The treatment of degumming wastewater is very challenging, as the cellulose contained in it has little biochemical activity and the wastewater has a high color intensity; as a result, the wastewater treatment performed by many facilities does not meet the required standards. However, a new process developed by Hubei Fangyuan Environment Company for treating wastewater generated during jute degumming is also quite effective. The previous treatment methods are similar; what’s different is that an oxidation and decolorization step is added after the biochemical treatment.
