There are no clear regulations in the building codes, and the regulations related to petrochemical industries aren’t very explicit either. How did you consider this matter?
The table in Article 3.2.11 of the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" specifies requirements for wastewater treatment plants (uncovered oil separation tanks), above-ground flammable liquid storage tanks (fixed-roof or floating-roof types of Classes A, B, and C, as well as fixed-roof tanks of Class C), liquefied hydrocarbon storage tanks, flammable gas storage tanks, liquefied hydrocarbons and liquids of Classes A, B, and C, filling stations, and warehouses or storage areas for Class A materials. The fire separation distance for the oily waste tanks () in the wastewater treatment plant can be reduced by 25%. The fire separation distance for oil pumps in wastewater treatment plants or pump rooms can be reduced by 50%.
That’s indeed the case. However, if it is just an ordinary sewage treatment tank with a roof, like an anaerobic tank
By the way, the distance between our current comprehensive wastewater treatment tank and the methanol storage area is only 25 meters. I’m not sure if it meets the standards
