Design a refrigeration system using sodium chloride brine; what is the lowest temperature that can be achieved while ensuring the proper operation of the equipment? What is the lowest possible limit for the evaporation temperature?
It should be determined based on the temperature of the saltwater; it can’t be higher than that temperature. It’s better if there’s a difference of a few degrees.
The freezing point of water is zero degrees Celsius under standard conditions; it drops when table salt is dissolved in it, and this freezing point varies depending on the concentration. You can consult a physics and chemistry handbook for the value corresponding to your specific concentration, and then add a few degrees to obtain the lowest temperature at which it can still be used.
