When a new layout is created, the images from the template are automatically transferred to the new layout. If the images in the new layout are deleted, the images in the template are also removed accordingly. What is the reason for this? How can I edit the images in a new layout without affecting the template?
The situation you mentioned is impossible; model space and paper space are inherently connected, and there is no fundamental difference between them – the former is used for drawing, while the latter is used for printing! If there are edits in paper space, then correspondingly, it will also change in model space. That is, within the newly created LAY OUT as you mentioned. Can you copy the drawing you want to edit and place it beside it? Go edit another one. I’m not sure if that’s what you mean? Hope this helps! !
