The regeneration of the NHD desulfurization solution requires the addition of water in a solution regeneration tower. Let’s discuss whether it would be possible to use water in the low-pressure flash tank, and whether that could yield better results
If no water is added to the top of the tower, more solution will be carried in the acidic gas
Why add it to the flash tank? What considerations led the original poster to do this? Why do you think it will be better? Added to the top of the regeneration tower, it can be used as a washing liquid to remove the entrained NHD, thereby reducing NHD loss.
