Catalyzed diesel, with its boiling range kept at no more than 350°C, can be stored for over 10 days after being washed with 15% concentrated alkali. When mixed with Tokushima, Tokushima also needs to be alkali washed. But it's hard to say for sure regarding maintaining the cetane number.
Just installing a hydrogenation unit will solve the problem
These days, diesel produced in factories generally goes through hydrogenation; atmospheric-pressure diesel also fails to meet current standards, so blending is not a good solution
At present, diesel can still be handled at the production stage by means of blending: the diesel is subjected to non-hydrogenation chemical refining to improve its oxidation stability, thereby extending its storage period to over two weeks; after that it is blended with straight diesel and sold as final product. . . But the best approach is to subject it to hydrorefining together with coke, in order to improve its density, reduce its sulfur content and acidity, and enhance its oxidation stability. . . And then it is mixed with Tsugami before being shipped out. . . :lol
The investment required for hydrofinishing is high, and it’s not something that can be implemented easily. An alternative approach is to use antioxidants to improve the antioxidant properties of diesel; the cost is around 10 yuan per ton. Diesel to which antioxidants are added can maintain its stability for about a month.
I think it’s possible through oil blending; we have adjusted the density, cetane number, and oxidation stability of the diesel base oil, so it should meet the **standards**
A small amount can be stabilized by blending in diesel stabilizers
The diesel stability of Shandong’s local refineries is really poor; even with the addition of stabilizers, it doesn’t last more than a week. Investing in hydroprocessing is too costly; it’s not feasible for small factories like ours, so we have to start with non-hydroprocessing methods. Now we use solvent refining, which also yields good results with minimal investment.
Mix with Chongchai without a hydrogenation unit
