What is the testing method for the particle size (or diameter) of dimethicone (a cosmetic ingredient), and are there any corresponding standards? I searched online for a long time with no results. Thank you.
Take approximately 10 g of the substance, weigh it accurately, place it on sieve No. 2, and conduct the test in accordance with the method specified (Appendix IX E, Method 2, 1 of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, 2000 edition, Part II); the result should be not less than 95%.
