To eliminate the *inertial wasteful behaviors that are taken for granted and overlooked*. Let’s talk about it – both waste behaviors related to production and those related to daily life are acceptable; what kinds of waste behaviors exist around us? How great is the damage caused by these actions? How to address such wasteful behavior?
Savings can be achieved in several areas such as clothing, food, housing, transportation, and entertainment: 1. Avoid being vain; choose what you need based on your actual circumstances, and plan your expenses wisely according to your income level. Make regular deposits to prepare for any emergency that might arise; 2. As for clothing, it’s sufficient to have a set suitable for each season – spring, summer, autumn, and winter. There’s no need to keep up with fashion trends or change outfits eighteen times a day. If you try to follow every trend, no amount of money will be enough; by being frugal with clothing, you can save a significant amount of money ; 3. When it comes to eating, try to avoid showing off or competing in terms of extravagance. When dining at a hotel, a single meal can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars. If you cook at home, you can **reduce costs. Moreover, cooking together can strengthen the relationship between spouses and friends; the taste of food prepared at home is definitely different ; 4. Regarding living space, there’s no need to pursue overly large apartments. For a family of three, 100 square meters with three bedrooms and one living room is sufficient. This way, expenses on furniture can be reduced, as well as electricity costs and the time spent on cleaning. The saved time can be used for exercising ; 5. For transportation, if the workplace is close to home, a bicycle can be an option; if it’s farther away, a motorcycle might be suitable. Try to avoid buying a car, as in China’s current situation, it’s possible to afford a car but not its maintenance costs. In emergency situations, it’s better to rent a car instead. The above aspects are my ways of saving money; they can be discussed.
It’s all about food, clothing, shelter, daily needs, and transportation. For food, there’s no need for exotic delicacies; for clothing, no need for brand-name items; for shelter, no need for luxury homes – as long as it’s sufficient. It’s nice to have a family car, but it’s not essential if you don’t have one
Sometimes waste is inevitable; for example, when the food in the cafeteria is so unappetizing that it has to be thrown away
Common issues in production include continuous operation, constantly lit lights, as well as leaks and other forms of waste.
Seeing the mention of the cafeteria food upstairs, I remembered a classic comment made by a certain guy about the rice in the cafeteria: Damn it, why is there rice in the sand today! The food our company delivers to the workshop for those on shift work consists of just 2 main dishes: shredded potatoes and tofu – both cooked entirely in water. It happens every day, without a break throughout the year.
It’s just not as good in the cafeteria as at home. It’ll have to do.
