After the workshop started operating, as it is a coking workshop, there is a lot of coke dust, both in the water coolers and heat exchangers. Additionally, corrosion is severe, which often leads to blockages and leaks in these components. Especially at the absorption and stabilization unit, the heat exchangers have to be frequently disassembled and reassembled after the plant starts operating. Are there any good methods to reduce the amount of coke dust buildup, as well as to address the problem of severe corrosion?
1. Control the reflux flow in the distillation system to prevent interruptions in reflux, which could cause gasoline to carry large amounts of coke particles. 2. Add water washing to the gas at the top of the distillation tower and at the compressor outlet. 3. Ensure steady operation of the plant to avoid tower overpressure. 4. Monitor the sulfur content of the feedstock closely, and consider upgrading the materials used in areas subject to severe corrosion
:Lol, the best solution is to switch to different equipment. You must be a private company; the equipment used in such companies is of poor quality when it comes to investment considerations. Many of the heat exchangers and water cooling systems don’t even have anti-corrosion measures in place, and that’s something that can’t be resolved through our operational procedures. We just do our best to operate them smoothly.:)
