I would like to ask everyone: if the levelness of the trays in a carbon scrubber tower exceeds the specified limits, is it possible to correct this issue during installation? How to correct it?
If the levelness of the tray installation is beyond the acceptable range, it is necessary to first determine whether the cause lies in deformation of the tray itself or in an excessive levelness of the tray’s support rings. Deformation of the tray can be corrected; for problems with the support rings, they have to be removed, realigned, and rewelded – there is no other solution. If the deviation is not too large, within 12 mm, it may still be acceptable to use the tray in such conditions.
