With the arrival of the rainy season, the expansion joints at the connections between various platforms of the coke ovens leak water when it rains. I would like to ask my colleagues: are there any good ways to handle this?
It’s very simple: just shape iron sheet into a V shape, place it in the expansion joint, with its ends extending about 10 cm across the platform surface – that’s all. Then pour asphalt on top
The area near the furnace can be sealed with asbestos rope, with high-temperature cement applied to fill in the gaps
Buy two tons of asphalt and pour it on after the flowers bloom. My air compressor room is leaking water. The repairman said it would cost 30 yuan per square meter, which would amount to 7,000 yuan in total. So I bought 2 tons of asphalt and used it to cover the area completely. 5000 is done.
