One point is: it is flammable and explosive under high temperature and pressure, so safety must be taken into account.
Pay attention to the heat removal from the reactor, as the synthesis reaction is highly exothermic; poor heat removal can lead to a rapid rise in temperature.
I’m not sure what type of synthesis tower you’re referring to. If it’s an ammonia synthesis tower or a methanol synthesis tower, special attention must be paid to the use and maintenance of the catalysts; temperatures and pressures must not be exceeded, and the temperature of the tower walls must remain within specified limits to prevent hydrogen embrittlement corrosion.
