I would like to know if PVC finished products in China are transported using bulk trucks. If so, which company is responsible for developing the bulk transportation systems and those trucks? Please get in touch! Thank you!
It should not be used in bulk, as PVC in bulk tends to absorb moisture and pick up impurities, which is detrimental to PVC products.
Transporting PVC resin in bulk trucks is very common; our factory has 2 such trucks, one with a single axle and one with a double axle. Its usage is similar to that of power plant fly ash or cement bulk transport vehicles; it relies on air compression for delivery, and most domestic manufacturers of specialized vehicles for transporting powdered materials have such systems.
Due to the relatively low apparent density of PVC, transporting it by bulk vehicle is not very economical. Especially for long-distance transportation. I wonder how far the transportation distance is upstairs? Short-distance transportation can save on packaging costs; it’s estimated that this is possible.

Pneumatic conveying can be considered if the distance is no more than 3 kilometers.
Our company offers bulk transportation; no special equipment is required. A branch pipe is taken off the main pipeline before it reaches the automatic packaging machine (the diameter of this branch pipe in our factory is DN250) and led outside, and a steel loading platform is constructed. The height of this platform is determined based on the height of the tank truck, and cloth bag valves are used to connect to the top of the tank truck for loading
We also use bulk trucks; feeding is relatively easy, as the material can be poured in directly from a high-level silo. However, discharging requires pneumatic transport.
