For valves on gas pipelines, blind flanges are used for easy maintenance and isolation; they are generally placed behind the valve. So what about placing them at the outlet, behind the valve, at the inlet of the equipment?
It should be easy to assemble and disassemble, mainly to prevent internal leakage of the valve and accidental operation. Our factory has already suffered losses because of this. Also, is there any way to switch the medium flowing into the equipment by using a valve to block it?

Behind the valve (the process medium needs to be drained before removing the flange to install the blind plate)； 2. When container equipment needs to be repaired, the blind plate should be placed as close as possible to the container; otherwise, repairs can easily go wrong (in our factory, two workers lost their lives for this reason a few years ago) ； 3. Blind plates are often used in pressure tests and airtightness tests, and qualified blind plates must be installed in accordance with relevant standards and specifications for such blind plates.
Another advantage of installing a blind flange behind the valve is that it protects the valve from damage caused by external objects; this is especially true for ball valves, which are likely to get damaged if no blind flange is used.
