Where is the level gauge installed?

Are there any regulations regarding the installation location of the liquid level gauge in storage tanks?
There’s no specification, I’ve seen some drawings placed on the cover, while others are placed on the cylinder. I’ve only seen in the specifications that it should be installed in a location where it is easy to observe. This post was last edited by asdfg104 on 2009-3-26 13:54.]

This is mainly determined by the instrumentation and control team; if it’s a magnetic flap level gauge or a differential pressure level gauge, it is installed on the tank body, while an ultrasonic level gauge is installed on the top of the tank.
