Could you briefly explain the differences and applications of ECS-100, GCS-200, and JX-300X? Thank you!
Ask yourself~~~ The JX-300X is the standard DCS; the GCS-200 is a large-scale DCS based on Ethernet technology, while the ECS-100 is a control system based on network technology. Are the latter two actually used in practice? On what occasion?
Let me answer: The JX-300X model is no longer being promoted by the manufacturer’s control unit department. Its main product, the JX-300XP, is designed for small to medium-sized projects. The ECS-100 system is suitable for large-scale projects with a large number of devices, while the GCS-200 has some similarities to PLCs

I forgot; I answered this question there before – after the upgrade, the JX-300X becomes 300XP. At least isolation between card modules is achieved. 300XP is Central Control’s main weapon in competing on price in the low-end market. The ECS-100 is essentially a larger version of the 300XP. It’s the same as controlling the kernel. The software engine is the same. --Which part looks like Foxboro? It just has a bit more capability, is stronger, has more memory, is faster, and has more circuits. However, the card slots in the ECS-100 are significantly better made than those in the 300XP, and they also look much nicer. Many are isolated point by point. The ECS-100 can also be used in conjunction with DEH components. So it is used more in electricity. Compared to 300XP, the ECS-100 group is used for larger and more important projects. Support for FF is still an issue at present; it is said that in May 2009, the FF interface card was certified by the Fieldbus Foundation. But it can only enable communication between the FF device and the CPU; it does not possess the essence of FF’s \"autonomous control\"! Currently, the Profibus DP of ECS-700 is also not redundant. The ECS-700 still needs continuous improvement, I guess. Many things seem quite basic; the ideas are good, but there is still a long way to go. GCS-2. The central control unit was originally promoted as a PLC-like product, and its appearance is quite similar to that of a PLC. Currently, only CPU redundancy can be achieved. IO redundancy cannot be achieved. The CPU communication uses open ModbusTCP. Therefore, the vast majority of general-purpose configuration monitoring software can communicate with GCS-2. When using it for personal purposes, IFix is used more often. Except for the GCS-200, all systems can be configured using the same software, AdvantrolPro. --Personally, I think having a highly detailed product line isn’t necessarily a good thing. . .
