During a driving operation, I directly opened the control valve in front of the mass flow meter, as well as the two-position valves that were located later on. As a result, the flow meter indicated full scale; subsequently, the flow reading became unstable and the control valve kept adjusting frequently. The situation improved only after I closed those two-position valves and slowly reopened the control valve. What could be the reason for this? Could it be that opening those two-position valves immediately caused a large amount of fluid to flow into the flow meter, disrupting its balance? Is this analysis correct? Please give your advice
To prevent excessive flow velocity in the mass flow meter, first open the on/off valve, then manually and slowly open the control valve – do not do it too quickly!
I think it’s a problem with the selection of your flow meter – its range is too small
