Since several member friends have asked me questions regarding reputation and contributions, I will answer them one by one first. 1. Who can evaluate prestige and contributions? Answer: Prestige, Super Editor, and Admins have the permission to evaluate. Contributions can be evaluated by administrators. Of course, advisors could also evaluate reputation a long time ago, so it’s no surprise to see evaluations without any experience as a super editor. 2. What’s the use of prestige and contributions? Answer: Reputation and contributions play a certain role in forum points; for details, see the signature of the Cleaning Station Master. The others aren’t very useful, but due to the high difficulty level involved in obtaining them, as well as the prestige associated with the red envelopes given to the cleaning station supervisors who have only a primary school education, discussions around them are quite lively. In fact, I believe that prestige and contributions are merely other forms of charm; aside from the fact that they cannot be acquired through wealth, they are essentially the same thing. The original poster has some point; they have clearly explained the purpose. However, relatively speaking, “charm” is easy to obtain (it can be evaluated by moderators and managers alike), while “prestige” and “contribution” are difficult to achieve.

Everyone comes to Haichuan with the aim of solving problems and exchanging technical knowledge – that’s the fundamental purpose, and it’s also what drives Haichuan’s development and earns it support. Whether they are moderators or ordinary members, everyone does so for the betterment of Haichuan and to be able to learn and exchange more knowledge here. Additionally, I suggest that moderators delete “Weicheng’s” rating of the original poster; I don’t quite understand what “Weicheng” meant by that. It seems like he just felt comfortable saying those things. The original poster is there to help others solve problems and contribute to the forum. Rarity makes things valuable; prestige and contributions also need to be kept in check, and as for how to do that, it’s up to the management. As a regular member, one can only rate up to 20 assets per time, with only 300 points available for rating each day. Also, the ratings in the foreign language section seem to be rather low lately; only a few moderators are giving ratings, while most people just read without leaving any comments.
I came to Haichuan mainly interested in technical exchanges; wealth, points, prestige, and contributions are things given by others. But I believe that the seniority level in Haichuan should be proportional to one’s technical skills – and that’s what sets Haichuan apart from some other messy forums. Support Haichuan.
As long as your posts are good, wealth will keep coming in in large amounts – it’s impossible to stop it!

Sis, currently there are no fees associated with exchanging wealth for charm, so if you have 10 units of wealth, that’s equivalent to one unit of charm. Therefore, it doesn’t really make much sense to activate all the membership options just to get more charm. And if it became possible to obtain charm in such large quantities, it might even lead to inflation on the forum, haha. Well, though I’m reluctant to admit it, I have to agree that what my sister said this time is quite correct. Simply put, the actual value of prestige is 50 wealth units, while its contribution is 100 wealth units. Since it is more difficult to obtain, its value should be slightly higher than 50 or 100 wealth units; the exact amount by which it is higher depends on personal preference.
One of my sister’s posts received 106 points in Wealth + 1 point in Charm (as of 15:15). It’s really annoying, isn’t it? :handshake :lol
