Are there any preparations needed before pile driving? What are the preparatory tasks?
The following preparatory work should be carried out before piling: remove any obstacles, both above and below ground, that may hinder construction； Level the construction site; mark out the positions ； Set up power and water supply systems ； Install pile drivers, etc. The positioning points for the pile foundation axis and the level points should be located in areas unaffected by pile driving, with no fewer than 2 level points to be installed. During construction, this can be used to check the deviation of the pile positions as well as the depth to which the piles penetrate into the ground.
Adding to what was said above: in addition to the tasks mentioned, pile driving tests should also be conducted (with no fewer than 2 piles), the order of pile driving needs to be determined, and pads, pile caps, and equipment for driving the piles must be prepared.
Piling methods include rammed expanded piles, drilled fly ash piles, manually drilled concrete cast-in-place piles, and water piles; the preparation work for different types of piles also varies
