Our company is conducting a preliminary design, and we would like to ask our senior colleagues about the contents of the menu on the PID homepage

Has your company never done process design? Are there no other projects for reference? Hasn’t anyone in your company done process design either? Whether it’s a PID directory or a process directory, these are all the most fundamental things. Can it be explained clearly in just a few words here? I don’t mean to underestimate you at all; I know you’re doing a trial design. It is recommended that the original poster try to obtain a set of relevant design drawings from the appropriate design institute through acquaintances, or ask relevant professionals for advice; it is impossible to solve this problem here, as the gap between what you need and what is available is too large.
The company spent a lot of money to hire relevant experts for training; the drawings and lecture materials from the design institute were top-secret, with no samples left behind. My memories from that time are rather vague, so I’m seeking advice from everyone here.
Then the large amount of money you spent isn’t really worth it; the expert should at least bring some blueprints for you. Perhaps the benefits offered to the expert weren’t sufficient. ““The drawings and lecture notes from the design institute are top-secret,” but there are still ways to obtain them.

Regarding the homepage diagram of our facility, it includes pipe numbers, fluid codes, pipe symbols, fitting numbers and codes for special components, equipment numbers, equipment codes, unit numbers, equipment legends, insulation and soundproofing codes, instrument numbers, instrument descriptions, instrument legends, and explanations for typical legends. If all these details are clearly shown on the homepage diagram, then there should be no problems with understanding the process.
