Personally, I think it’s better to use Shimadzu products – they offer good value for money. Most of the laboratories in our school use Shimadzu equipment. A few days ago we purchased a GC-2060, and the engineer from the manufacturer left only last night; the after-sales service is excellent
It’s hard to say which chromatography system is easier to operate; those that are simple to use aren’t difficult, while those that are difficult aren’t easy to use either. With training provided by the manufacturer, there should be no problems using them. The key lies in whether one knows how to maintain and repair them. I think domestic models are cheaper. Depending on your organization’s financial situation, if you can afford it, imported models will certainly offer better quality, but if financial constraints exist, then domestic models will suffice.
