On the flange of the heat exchanger, the following markings can be seen: WN 250-5 OM SCH40 00Cr19Ni10II TH1495. Here, 250 represents DN, 5 represents PN, and 00Cr19Ni10II refers to 304L. So what do SCH40 and TH1495 mean? ? ? Thank you. . .
Sch40 is the inner diameter size for welded steel pipe flanges with necks (American system), and it can be found in the appendix attached to the flange standards.
Sch40 refers to the thickness of the pipe fitting, that is, the thickness of the smaller end of the flange. As mentioned above, the corresponding B value can be found in the flange standards, while the corresponding wall thickness of the pipe fitting can be found in the pipe fitting standards.
