Regulations seem to require that fuel station storage tanks be equipped with such measures, but in my opinion, since the flash point of diesel fuel grade 0 is above 55°C, if the tanks are buried underground, no explosive mixture will form in their vapor space at normal temperatures; therefore, the need for explosion protection does not arise. If the tank is on the ground, a fire in another tank can heat this diesel tank to temperatures above 55°C, thereby potentially creating an explosive mixture in the gas space inside the tank.
