Asking for help with heat constant calculations for factory utility systems

Factories are now engaged in energy conservation and consumption reduction. The leader asked me to do a heat constant calculation for the entire factory's public engineering system. I want to ask everyone: 1) What information is needed? In addition to PID, do we also need to know the flow rate of each path of the public project, that is, PFD? 2) I don’t have a clue yet, how do I get started? Can anyone give me some advice? 3) The purpose of doing this constant calculation is to find ways to utilize excess energy? Or could it have any other purpose? Please give me more opinions.
