When the temperature in the space above the furnace is high, the first thing to consider is the reasons for this increase, and then address those issues accordingly. 1. The flat coal loading refers to the size of the space on top of the furnace; when coal is loaded from the top, it is not filled completely, evenly, or flattened properly. The coal has not been fully compacted or loaded. 2. Furnace type factors, level of heating intensity. Horizontal selection aims to maintain an appropriate space temperature while ensuring even maturation of the coke cake on both the top and bottom; a larger space results in a higher temperature, while a smaller space leads to a lower one. Furnace types equipped with double-row gas collection pipes facilitate the removal of raw gas, resulting in relatively lower spatial temperatures. 3. The space temperature is measured when coking has reached 2/3, which corresponds to the middle to later stages of gas production; at this point, a value not exceeding 850 should be fine. If high pressure is present, it is necessary to check the height of the coal cake, whether the standard temperature is appropriate, and whether the value of coefficient a is within the acceptable range; moreover, the pressure at the viewing ports should not be higher than 0–5 Pa. Excess moisture in the coal blend will raise the standard temperature; meanwhile, in the case of briquetted coal for coke ovens, these briquettes will sink after being formed, thereby increasing the height of the space. If everything is qualified, there should be no problem!
There should be no problem with the furnace type; 1. Operate under positive pressure. 2. Fill to capacity.
(1) The coal has not been loaded fully, evenly, and compactly; raising the coal level appropriately can help adjust the coal leveling rod or change the way in which the coal loader loads the coal. (2) If the ash and volatile matter content in the coal blend is too high, the ratio can be adjusted or the accuracy of coal blending can be improved. (3) Appropriately reduce the standard temperature while ensuring the temperature at the fusing center. (4) Reduce the holding time of coke in the furnace while ensuring its quality. (5) The pressure in the gas collection pipe is too high or fluctuates significantly. (6) If the carbonization chamber is not properly sealed, it may be due to leakage around the furnace walls; pay special attention to the areas where the furnace is heated ; It is also possible that the furnace door is not sealed properly, allowing air to be drawn in when there is negative pressure in the carbonization chamber.
