Does tar distillation involve heat exchange with asphalt?

Dear sea friends: Does anyone have a unit that exchanges heat with the asphalt flowing out of the secondary tower and the second-stage tar? What type of heat exchanger is being used? By how much can the temperature of the second stage oil be increased?

Depending on the process, asphalt exchanges heat in different ways: in some cases it does so with raw tar, while in other cases it exchanges heat with anhydrous tar before entering the tubular furnace.
