Since the catalyst methanol soaking for MTBE requires analysis of the water content, I was wondering what the approximate water content is? Is sampling taken from the bottom of the reactor? For a catalytic distillation column, is it better to install a pressure control valve on the overhead vapor line or on the line after cooling with a condenser? Thank you!
