Who knows the history of elbows

As the title suggests, I remember someone saying back when I was in school that the elbows we use today were invented by an experienced engineer from Jihua Company. After starting work, an experienced worker said that the elbows used to be made by extrusion or casting, and some were also welded on-site using shrimp-shaped molds. . . . . Thinking about how hard our predecessors had it back then… I suddenly thought of this while reading a post earlier. I tried searching online but found no results. When I first started working here, I even saw elbows being welded on site. A elbow consists of at least 3 sections and at most 5 sections.
