A pulse-free metering pump: I’d like to recommend a pulse-free metering pump; it’s probably not widely used in China (it seems to have been introduced by a Korean company and is only used in this industry). The principle of this metering pump is quite simple: it is essentially a double-plunger diaphragm metering pump (other auxiliary components will not be discussed for now); the key aspect is the mutual compensation between the two plunger when they reach their respective forward and backward extreme positions. Produced by a Japanese company; it is very sophisticated, with a designed flow rate of 0.2–2.2 l/min. In actual use, the fluctuation is no more than 3 g (monitored by an online mass flow meter). Friends who are interested are welcome to discuss.

If what you mean is a reciprocating plunger diaphragm pump, it’s impossible to have no pulses! A dual-piston design can reduce pulses, but since the phase difference between the two pistons is 180 degrees, it only reduces the original flow rate by half, which in turn results in smaller pulses. It is impossible to eliminate pulses solely with a double pump; the more pumps there are, the smaller the pulses become, but this increases costs.

I’ve also used those from Nichia; there’s a slight difference in single-precision performance, and their design isn’t as refined as this one. The stability is very good, as proven by practice.
It’s not the case that more pump heads mean less pulsation; it’s mainly about force balance! The pulsation of a triple unit is less than that of a quadruple unit.
