Last night, the hydrogen ratio at our company’s gas generation unit fluctuated significantly, which has affected normal production. May I ask what caused this? It fluctuates between 51 and 58, thank you.
The shift leader in charge of hydrogen adjustment knows that purging can be used to adjust the hydrogen-to-nitrogen ratio; there is another method as well, but I can’t remember it. If that doesn’t work, it might be due to a malfunction in the equipment.
Generally, it is mainly related to the furnace temperature; whether there is a furnace that has been overhauled and integrated into the system, or whether there are valves that do not function properly. Additionally, the low-pressure discharge during synthesis can be unstable
Operators should be careful, pay close attention to the trends in changes, and follow the principle of making small adjustments frequently. They must also keep an eye on fluctuations in furnace temperature and adjust the recovery time accordingly. It is necessary to use furnaces with stable operating conditions, and communication with the subsequent stages should be strengthened; when there are large fluctuations in those later stages, it becomes difficult to control the gas production process as well. Excessive actions should be avoided.
