However, vinyl chloride converters with domestic technology are not installed, including the new reactor of 3200. However, the reactor for dry vinyl chloride process has additional expansion joints. I checked; converters for 2400, 2800, 3000, 3200, and 3500 aren’t included either.
Dry-process vinyl chloride is used in contrast to the traditional domestic vinyl chloride production methods, as it does not require washing with water or alkali during production. That is, once the raw gas has been properly treated and the vinyl chloride produced in the converter comes into contact with no water anymore, and water is also not allowed to be present during the production process. That’s why it’s called dry-process vinyl chloride.
