Selection of catalytic cracking regenerators

I’m working on my graduation project, but I’m not sure whether to choose the coke drum method or the two-tank method. Does anyone with professional knowledge know which of these technologies is more advanced nowadays and is used more in factories? The materials I have are from around 1980; at that time, the coke drum method was the most advanced one. There’s no information available on modern methods
There are pre-coking tanks and post-coking tanks. A pre-ignition coke burner is generally used because it has a high coking capacity. This can reduce the burning load on the regenerator. Our plant uses a regeneration system based on a two-stage series regeneration process of rapid-bed and turbulent-bed types, while the reaction system employs an internal lift-tube design for the reaction zones. Our factory uses a coaxial design for the regenerator and settler, with a lift-type reactor. As for which design is the most advanced, each has its own advantages. The coking tank type, as mentioned earlier, features high coking intensity. The arrangement of these two devices serves both to save space and to facilitate operation.
