The equipment has been in operation for ten years; I would like to ask experts and scholars how to assess the safe operating life of natural gas compressors From which aspects is it appropriate to conduct research? Could you recommend relevant academic papers for reference?
Generally, American manufacturers state a service life of 20 years in their documentation; the actual lifespan depends on the operating conditions of the machine. Some of the machines that were first put into use in China are now in use for over 20 years. When it comes to equipment, economic factors play a key role over time, as the maintenance costs for older machines tend to be higher.
