One end cap, base layer 32, double layer 2, inner diameter 3600; the base layer 32 was used for strength calculations, and all met the strength requirements. According to the machining thinning amount specified in JB/4746, the minimum formable thickness of 27.84 is indicated in the diagram. There are two opinions: one is that 27.84 should be used, but it should be noted that this represents the minimum formable thickness of the base layer, although this value cannot be measured. The other opinion is that 29.58 should be used. Please discuss which of these options is correct and feasible.

The HG standard stipulates that: \"For composite steel plates used to ensure the cleanliness of the working medium, the minimum thickness of the composite layer shall not be less than 2 mm.\" ” The owner’s double-layer structure uses steel plates with a nominal thickness of 2 mm. First, the steel plates have a negative deviation in thickness; second, the double layer will thin out after being pressed into shape. Can it still meet this minimum thickness requirement? I have little experience with composite steel plates; I just roughly work on them.
At the very least, the thickness at the base level should be ensured
During the calculation, due to the possibility of double-layer corrosion resistance, no corrosion allowance may have been included, and the calculated thickness of the base layer fails to meet the design requirements. There is also a thickness difference of 30 mm between 32 mm and the calculated thickness of 27.84 mm; special requirements must be taken into account during design.
