I’d like to ask about the precautions to take when maintaining oxygen pipelines~~~ What are the requirements for the maintenance tools? Are there special tools for oxygen pipelines? Like an explosion-proof hammer? How should oxygen gaskets be stored?
At the top... I hope the experts can give me some advice~~~ Oxygen pipelines are extremely dangerous, so one can’t be careless with them
There are no specific requirements for the maintenance of oxygen pipelines; it is sufficient to displace them with nitrogen. After all, oxygen serves only as an oxidizing agent and is not a flammable or explosive substance, so it isn’t as dangerous as the poster might think. No special tools are required, nor is it necessary to store gaskets in a special way. Similar to other pipelines, gaskets, fittings, and valves need to be degreased, as oxygen pipelines must be free of oil. This post was last edited by diwu0205 on 2009-3-28 at 08:42
1. For the maintenance of oxygen pipelines, copper tools such as explosion-proof hammers should be used; For the maintenance of oxygen pipelines, nitrogen must be used for purging; the pressure in the pipelines must be reduced, and the gas composition inside the pipelines must be verified to be acceptable, as well as the oxygen level in the space outside the pipelines, before any welding work can proceed ; 3. For the maintenance of oxygen pipelines, oil contamination is strictly prohibited; oils are not allowed on valves, flanges, bolts, and gaskets ; 4 Maintenance personnel should wear degreased work clothes and clean gloves free from oil contamination ; During the maintenance of oxygen pipelines, it is strictly prohibited for any kind of debris to enter the pipelines ;
^_^, thank you~~~ I now have a basis~~
Why can’t I give scores all the time? ? ?
