Non-pressure vessel import

I would like to ask fellow sea industry professionals: Our company has several pieces of equipment with a design pressure of less than 0.7 barg that need to be imported. Since they do not fall under the category of pressure vessels, there is no need to submit them for supervision and inspection. Regarding commodity inspection, **are there any mandatory requirements? For example, is it required to meet international standards such as ASME?
There’s no need to make a big deal out of special equipment that is not pressure vessels. Damn it, there are too many rules (or regulations), which are confusing. . .
