I would like to ask everyone: what shape are the sealing surfaces between the furnace body and the chassis in the reduction furnaces you’ve seen? How many times are gaskets used? Are they ring-shaped with water patterns or something else? If it’s not confidential, it would be great if you could send some pictures :lol. Thank you!
The gaskets are smooth with no water marks; generally, one gasket can be used in about ten furnaces without any problem. However, this also depends on the manufacturer of the reduction furnace and the base frame, as different manufacturers produce gaskets of varying quality. I’ve seen gaskets from many manufacturers, and none of them have water marks
The ones upstairs use ten furnaces; I wonder what manufacturer and manufacturing process you’re using, as ours is far inferior! :lol
So you’re using stainless steel gaskets:P It seems ours aren’t
Polytetrafluoroethylene or reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene are generally good choices; if of high quality, they can be used for several batches of production
Ordinary PTFE gasket. Graphite wound gaskets are also used. The connections for the stove vary, and the pads used are different as well, but it usually doesn’t last even 10 uses!
Generally, modified 4F gaskets are used; the number of times they can be used depends on the skill level.

Are there any others interested in ceramic rings for electrodes? It’s always mentioned that sealing is important, and magnetic rings are also crucial. I work with silicon nitride ceramics, providing alternatives to imported components in order to reduce costs and shorten delivery times. We have already produced products in various specifications, and their performance is excellent.
Using expanded PTFE gaskets is the best option; they provide reliable sealing and can be reused. 10 furnaces are fine

Tetrafluoro materials are more commonly used, as there are significant differences in quality regarding the manufacturing processes of gaskets. Cheap ones can be used once or twice, while higher-quality ones can last around half a year; of course, the prices vary as well. In the end, it’s more cost-effective to use higher-quality materials

It depends on which factory it is from. The ones from Germany can last for a long time; our factory has been using them for over 2 years, and their sealing performance is excellent. However, only about 10 reactors are produced for nuclear equipment in Xi’an domestically. But it’s cheap, only one-third the price of German-made ones.
I have used PTFE gaskets; due to high-pressure startup, they were used only once for safety reasons.
It has been used in 10 furnaces – that’s amazing. I’m not sure which manufacturer you are; could you please let me know via text message? I guess the pressure in your furnace isn’t very high.
Tetrafluoro gaskets can only be used once; they change in size when heated, resulting in poor sealing properties.
