Our system is one capable of producing 500,000 tons of synthetic ammonia per year; it has been in operation for 1.5 years since its first start-up. During this time, various design flaws and defects in the equipment have come to light. Our company has carried out corresponding technical improvements to address the unreasonable manufacturing processes, and I would like to use these issues along with the technical improvements as the content of my thesis. Therefore, I titled my paper: “Problems Occuring During the Commissioning of Ammonia Synthesis Systems and Corresponding Countermeasures”. I would like to ask an expert to help me check whether this title is appropriate. If it isn’t, I was wondering if there are any better titles available. Please give me some advice! ! I’d like to thank you in advance! ! !
What a big topic~ Pick a key point and analyze it thoroughly
I want to list all the problems that occur with the entire device while driving, and then add analyses to those problems along with the technical improvements resulting from those analyses! ! Is this okay? ? !
Technical paper? Is it still a master’s thesis in engineering while working? The depth requirements for the two are different.
I think your topic is too broad. I don’t know either what the original poster intended to achieve by writing this paper! I guess if I wrote it down, it could become a book! I suggest you could write about some technical improvement or some system! A paper should be concise rather than long!
My opinion is the same as those above. Rather than discussing each issue in a general manner, it is better to focus on one or two key issues and conduct more in-depth discussions and analyses.
It is recommended to write one article focusing on an important and significant transformation; it is not advisable to combine several transformations into one!
When writing a paper, there should be a focus; if you try to cover everything, you won’t be able to write it well. Moreover, if you only discuss the problems that arose during testing, readers won’t have any idea what your designed production line looks like, as it might be too complex
The content is too extensive to explore in depth. Please focus on just one key issue and discuss it.
It is normal for problems to arise during the commissioning of large-scale ammonia synthesis systems. As for these problems, several key aspects and difficult issues that are hard to resolve domestically should be focused on for in-depth discussion, such as the start-up and shutdown challenges associated with large-scale units and equipment. As for minor technical upgrades, just a few words are sufficient.
Thank you to all the fellow travelers above for their suggestions! ! Thank you again! !
Does the original poster want to write a book or a thesis? It’s better to have a narrower scope; choose one or two issues that are representative or of significant importance to explore in depth, and it’s ideal to use some data to support that
