When working on a manufacturing project, how should one prepare a proper list of materials to ensure the smooth progress of construction?
What the original poster mentioned relates to project management, and there are dedicated discussions on this in relevant books. Generally, the design firm is responsible for providing a list of materials; after those materials are purchased based on this list, it is the construction firm that submits a material plan. Only after our approval can the construction firm retrieve the materials. For changes during the design and construction phases, materials must be removed promptly, and any shortages should be purchased in a timely manner to meet the construction requirements.
