If the remote control system for the valve is hydraulically driven, there is usually a dedicated hydraulic station, which contains a hydraulic pump and a set of hydraulic valve circuits. The solenoid valve box can be installed either within the hydraulic station or next to the valve, depending on the distance between the hydraulic station and the valve. Hydraulic accumulators are installed within the hydraulic station. The size of the accumulator depends on the number of valves driven by that station as well as the capacity of those valves, and it must be calculated to determine it. The manufacturers of hydraulic station production equipment can carry out calculations based on the specified conditions to determine this value.
