The summary of the fixing of the furnace column when replacing the coke oven cross braces and springs introduces the reasons for the corrosion and failure of the 2# coke oven cross braces and springs of Guiyang Gas Source Plant and the problems existing in the traditional method of fixing the furnace column during replacement. Due to careless operation, inspection and other reasons, circulating ammonia water in the bridge tube, high-pressure ammonia water, and water from the water seal of the riser tube cover leak to the furnace top from time to time. The combined effects of high temperature, ammonia, water, air and time have caused most of the horizontal braces to corrode and become thinner from the machine side burner to the 1# furnace mouth and near the 3# furnace mouth (the original diameter is 50mm, and some are only 32mm), which has affected the normal production. To this end, while strengthening management, the horizontal braces and springs were replaced or welded and reinforced. 2. When there is a problem, when replacing, welding and strengthening the coke oven horizontal braces or replacing the springs of the horizontal braces, the machine and coke side oven column corresponding to the furnace number must be fixed. The traditional method is to tie the 3/4″ steel wire rope to the machine and coke side furnace columns of the corresponding furnace number, use two 5t chain cranes in parallel, and tighten them at full load to fix the furnace columns. When partially welding and reinforcing the horizontal braces, a steel wire rope is tied to the coal loading car track or a chuck or hook is welded to the horizontal brace at the coal loading car track, and then the steel wire rope and chain crane are used to tighten it at full load. Both of these methods can only be carried out when the car is parked. Moreover, the steel wire rope and chain crane components will be heated and deformed at high temperatures, which is not very effective in fixing the furnace column and poses unsafe risks. The latter method will also distort and deform the coal loading car track. 3 Measures In the process of replacing the horizontal braces and springs, through continuous analysis, research, calculation and bold practice, a simple method of fixing the furnace column was summarized, which can overcome the shortcomings of the traditional method. The tonnage of a horizontal brace spring group in the plant's No. 2 coke oven does not exceed 8t. In this way, when replacing the horizontal braces and their springs, as long as about 8t of resistance is applied to the furnace number machine and the coke side furnace column, the best effect of fixing the furnace column can be achieved. This simple method is to use a horizontal steel group that can withstand about 8t of pressure without deformation in advance to weld and fix the machine and coke side furnace columns of the three adjacent furnace numbers in advance, and then replace the horizontal brace or weak spring of the middle furnace number. The details are shown in the figure. In the picture, the length from the outside of the first furnace column to the outside of the third furnace column is 2580mm, and the length of the channel steel group is 2550mm. From the material mechanics calculation, it can be seen that a 10# (100mm) channel steel is stressed on the side as shown in the picture and can withstand 2.8t of pressure without deformation and bending. The channel steel group uses three 10# channel steels that are tightly and straightly welded in advance and used as an integral component, which can withstand 8.4t of pressure. When welding the channel steel group, make sure the plane of the first channel steel is perpendicular to the furnace column. The welding position of the channel steel group on the machine side is about 100mm below the spring, which is convenient for welding. The coke side is welded 300mm away from the top of the furnace column, and the weld between the channel steel group and the furnace column must be tight. During the replacement operation, the furnace columns of adjacent furnace numbers will each increase their outward pulling force by about 4t, and the corresponding horizontal braces and springs will also increase their pulling force by about 2t. For those with a diameter less than 40mm, their load will be exceeded. For this reason, selection must be made during the replacement operation. First, replace the horizontal braces of adjacent furnace numbers whose diameter is greater than 40mm, and the diameter of the horizontal braces of this furnace number is less than 40mm. For adjacent furnace cross-brace diameters less than 40mm, curved hooks should be welded on the outside of the machine, coke side furnace column and coal loading car track, and then tightened with a chain crane, which only needs to bear a tensile force of about 2t. 4 Results This method of fixing the furnace columns was used to replace the horizontal braces and springs of the eight furnace columns of the 2# coke oven. During operation, the furnace column basically does not tilt outwards, and even if it does, it is less than 10mm, while the traditional method tilts outwards by more than 100mm.
