When drawing, we use models and create a standard drawing frame by ourselves. But problems arise when it comes to printing: if we choose the window option, the output image does not reflect the proportions specified in the drawing; whereas if we try to maintain the proportions from the drawing, the image ends up incomplete. Can anyone help?
First, confirm whether the “standard frame” you have drawn is standard; in other words, check if its length-to-width ratio is appropriate for printing paper. There is no suitable frame; consider scaling to an appropriate proportion. Then, in the printing scale option, select “Scale to paper space””
If printing at a proportional scale is desired, then the drawing should be created using the appropriate drawing frame corresponding to the size of the image that is to be printed. Thank you to the person above. The issue is that we always use a 1:1 scale for drawing. If we enlarge a diagram drawn in an A1 format by 20 times, and then choose to center it when exporting it, selecting the window option will show that the scale on the right side changes slightly – it’s no longer 20 but rather something like 20.1. If we set the scale back to 20 at this point, the border lines will disappear during previewing

Once this option is selected, the scale field below it turns gray and cannot be modified ; Fourth, select the printing area; there are three options here: 1) Window, 2) Graphic boundaries, 3) Display (I*usually use the window) ; Fifth, select the printing offset; here I simply check the option for centering. Once centering is selected, the X and Y coordinates become gray and cannot be edited ; Sixth, select the graphic direction ; Seventh, preview. I always follow this order when generating images, and I’ve never encountered the situation mentioned by the original poster. A printer cannot print the entire page. Didn’t manual drawing also require leaving margins before? Your margin should be the binding line; if you still can’t print a margin after leaving space for the binding line, then you can select your printer in the page settings, click on \"Properties\", open \"User-Defined Paper Size and Standards\", choose a custom paper size or modify the standard paper size. After that, select a custom paper type or pick the paper size for printing, and adjust the top, bottom, left, and right margins as needed. It is similar to modifying margins in a WORD file.
