Dear colleagues, I’m a newcomer at Haichuan. I have just started working in the field of safety, and I noticed that the safety departments in some factories regularly weigh the gas filter canisters. Why is weighing necessary? What are the standards? I would appreciate your advice.

The gas cartridges used by our company are from 3M. After consulting with 3M’s engineers, it was stated that a cartridge needs to be replaced as soon as an unusual odor is detected; they also have software for calculating the concentration and duration of use.
So, what are the standards for excessive weight of various gas filter canisters? I earnestly request advice from experts.
