During the production process, foam is generated in the brine tank due to stirring; the main reason for this is likely the presence of organic substances in the raw salt. Recently, it has been observed that the foam is particularly white and abundant – what could be the cause of this? Is it related to the high magnesium content in the raw salt? If that’s the case, isn’t the electrolyte tank in bad condition? Are both the organic substances and sodium hydroxide at high levels? ? It is suggested that the original poster analyze the components in the saltwater first, before discussing it in detail.

The excess alkali content must be kept within normal limits; it is recommended that the original salt quality be analyzed using ICP.
What do you use besides organic substances? I guess it might be caused by an excessive TOC level.
It would be better if the original poster shared the analysis results first, so that everyone can discuss them.

If the TOC is really that high, then there must be an entry point in the system. I hope the original poster can find it as soon as possible, otherwise it will have a significant impact. :L
There should also be an investigation into whether there are any issues with the saline solution; we have also used high-magnesium salts, and it didn’t work that way.
