Conventional gold cyanide slurry contains about 12% copper, about 43% silver, about 11% lead, less than 7% gold, with zinc being the main component among the others. Could some expert advise on preprocessing methods for removing impurities, other than the nitric acid method? Thank you!

Thank you all! This is a conventional gold cyanide slurry; due to the complexity of the purchased mineral powder, the slurry has such a composition. Wastewater treatment is available, but it has not been activated; the lean liquid contains a high level of copper. Additionally, when this gold paste is acid-washed directly, the copper removal effect is not satisfactory. It seems that adding a certain reagent can act as a catalyst during acid washing for copper removal, yielding better results. If anyone knows this, please let me know; thank you!
