Simply put, state it clearly in the technical attachments: everything is included as part of the compressor set. Of course, it would be interesting to know where a \"finned fan-type cooler\" is used. But since it is \"for underground gas storage facilities\", this cooler won’t be very large; at most, it will be used to cool the exhaust gas from loading and unloading processes. It is entirely possible to have compressor manufacturers provide the necessary components; if they are unable to do so, it indicates that there are issues with their technical capabilities!
The pulsation design of reciprocating compressors is a highly specialized issue; it’s not something that can be handled simply by constructing a tank. Section 3.9 of API618 (applicable to reciprocating compressors used in refineries) contains specific regulations on this topic. Currently, there is no such design capability in China at all; the internationally renowned design company in this field is BETA. Some domestic companies claim they can do it, but those are just empty promises; be careful. For the compressor skid units used in our company’s key projects, the entire set is usually imported, as there were problems in the past when domestic skid units were used (with the compressors still being imported Ariel models), which resulted in significant losses. The vibration safety issues caused by gas column pulsation cannot be ignored!
As mentioned on the 9th floor, domestic compressor manufacturers submit the preliminary design to pulse analysis firms such as BETA, IDC, and Zhongjia Pipeline for analysis. The same is true for buffer tanks: you can first carry out a preliminary design using the simplest version outlined in API618, and then submit it to a company specialized in pulsation analysis for verification. After all, pulsation analysis is a task carried out by PhDs, and the same is true for manufacturers abroad.
