Why is no one showing interest? Any suggestions? I’ll provide whatever is needed
Can it be used in the design of falling-film evaporators? I have a set of design requirements; could you help with the calculations? Thank you. Key technical specifications: Processing capacity: 25 t/h of citric acid fermentation broth (based on the clear liquid volume). Pressure at the heating steam inlet: 500 kPa (absolute pressure, T=151°C). The condensate outlet temperature is the saturated temperature corresponding to the steam. Condenser pressure: 20 kPa (gauge pressure). Concentration of the feed solution: 17% (V/V); concentration of the finished solution: 39% (V/V). Temperature of the feed solution: 65°C. Evaporator type: Custom. Single-effect evaporation.
Friend upstairs, could you explain the manufacturing process in more detail? Is this heat exchanger used for evaporation or condensation?
