A misalignment has occurred between the base of the rising tube and the hole in the rising tube due to uneven expansion; the gap is about 15 cm in size. In my opinion, this was caused by the lack of protective pressure applied to the smaller burner head during the heating process. Although the rising tube was connected to the gas collection tube while still hot, the absence of protective pressure led to irregular expansion and thus the misalignment. This currently affects the depth to which the cleaning tool can descend in order to remove graphite, and a large amount of graphite tends to accumulate at the site of the misalignment, making it difficult to clean. What should be done to address this issue? Thank you for the advice
Is there a step difference between the rising tube base and the rising tube hole? This is quite hard to understand. The rising tube base and the rising tube hole should be of an inlaid structure, right? How does misalignment occur?
As I understand it, the base has shifted away from the base brick. All that needs to be done is to readjust the riser; the most important thing is to find out the cause of the misalignment, as it seems you have new coke ovens
Well, we just started operations, and there’s a misalignment between the base and the base bricks. It seems that it’s the base that expands slightly, while the base bricks expand more – expanding in the direction of the furnace door. I’m not sure what to do about this; please advise
